WAP endeavours to help people receive and experience the love of God in their hearts, leading to life transformation.
About The Founder and President:
A.V.Samson Sugunakumar hails from Chennai. He schooled at the CSI Bishop Corrie Anglo-Indian Higher Secondary School and went to the Madras Christian College for his college studies. He earned M.A. and M.Phil. degrees from the college and then was led by the Lord to join the Jesus Calls Ministry as an Associate Editor of a youth magazine titled True friend. There he started a Youth Mission which grew to be called as Jesus Calls Transformers Youth Club.
He then served in the Department of Correspondence, Department of Campaigns and Department of Youth Missions and finally became the Administrative Executive to Dr. Paul Dhinakaran. It was during his tenure in Jesus Calls Ministries that he had the marvelous privilege of interviewing Bro. D.G.S. Dhinakaran, affectionately called Uncle D.G.S. Dhinakaran, on his Heavenly Visitations.
After serving Jesus Calls and the Dhinakarans for 8 years, Samson was led by the Spirit of God to be trained under a Pastor. God took him under the care of Rev. Sam P. Chelladurai, the Senior Pastor of Apostolic Fellowship Tabernacle where he worked in the Department of Communications, Department of Media and then became the Administrative Executive to Pastor Sam P. Chelladurai.
After serving AFT for 10 years the Lord led Samson into full time ministry with the Word & Power Ministries and till date he is leading WAP.
Vision Of WAP

To preach the Gospel of love and grace to as many people as possible

To teach people to receive and experience the love of God in their hearts and enjoy the beautiful transformation it brings

To help people discover the plan and Will of God in their lives and walk in that path

To offer people support fellowship and support as they walk in the Will of God

To teach and train people to discern, overcome and destroy the works of the devil against them fulfilling the plan of God in their lives

To teach people the wisdom and beauty in the absolute surrendering of their hearts to the Love and Will of God and to offer them support, counsel and comfort as God takes them through the breaking of SELF and assuring them into the freedom and joy of a Spirit-filled life.

To help them make Godly choices that will save them from the disasters that can be brought into their lives by self choices.

To comfort when they are in loss and grief To counsel when they are in confusion

To pray for them when they are in crisis To admonish and caution them, with grace, love and humility To teach them the truth of their identity in Christ due to their New Birth in Christ and by the finished work of Christ
